These cool snail sculptures were designed by German artist Ottmar Hörl to celebrate Rheinhessen‘s 200th anniversary.
Each snail is made from soft-PVC and measures 6 x 5 x 13 cm. Each piece is HÖRL engraved.
Ottmar Höerl is a renowned German artist, most known for his striking installations which take place in various public environments. He studied at the "Städelschule" in Frankfurt and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf. Since 2005 Hörl has been the president of the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg.
These pieces are weather-resistant, shatter-proof, are made of non-toxic free plastic rotational molding and have been made in Germany. And yup, they look fantastic on a mantel or next to your laptop on your desk!
