So april and the bear officially opened its virtual doors this weekend and the response was fantastic. Big, big thank you to all you wonderful people who shared april and the bear related news on your facebook/twitter/instagram, told your friends and or visited and especially bought from the site.

This blog is a forum for all related april and the bear news, general chit chat, my latest design obsessions and home D.I.Y. tips. I don't claim to be a D.I.Y. genius but through doing up my own house I've picked up a few skills which I intend on sharing with you ... whether you like it or not!

Dublin-based interior enthusiast/ blogger and entrepreneur Siobhan Lam shares her own experiences of doing up her home in Portobello ... be warned it involves head wounds, bruised shins, fire engines and never-ending mountains of dust.
