As a buyer, you've got to be passionate about what you buy. You've got to understand your customer and what excites her/him, you've got to take a lot of factors into account before buying...and sometimes none of this matters because you've found a product so special that you can't not buy it.

This Spring, we excitedly introduce Rhombus Ceiling Tiles and yes you guessed it, this is the SPECIAL product. The tiles are made from light polystyrene and they allow full creative freedom to decorate your ceiling or wall - the idea is that these unique geometrical tiles replace the more traditional 'ceiling rose' of bygone years, giving the home-owner/renter an opportunity to create a stunning and utterly unique pattern in their home.

The tiles come from a kick-ass design company in Berlin called Fundamental Berlin and they are based on a 5 axial logic found in Uzbekh mosques of the 15th century, these patterns are unique within geometry because they can be radial, regular or free-flowing. NOICE. Each box of tiles contains instructions on how to create 4 beautiful designs and 72 tiles which is enough to make one large ceiling tile or two smaller ones - to cover approximately one metre squared.

The tiles are super easy to install, you simply glue the tiles to the ceiling/wall and then paint! The perfect way to create something beautifully modern and completely unique in your home! ANNNNDDD if you buy on or before Thursday the 26th you get 10% off (use code CAMPEFP) - happy creating!

April and the Bear is an award-winning DIY/ lifestyle and interiors blog. Dublin-based interior enthusiast/ blogger and entrepreneur Siobhan Lam shares her own experiences of doing up her home in Portobello ... be warned it involves head wounds, bruised shins, fire engines and never-ending mountains of dust. Don’t let this deter you though – we want to encourage and help other not-so-handy individuals to throw caution to the wind and pick up that sledge hammer, but to do so with slightly bent knees and a hard hat firmly on your head.

April and the Bear blog attracts devoted readers from across the globe, we won 'Best Business Blog' at the Image.ie Blog Awards 2014 and were nominated for the 2014 The BOPS and The Blog Awards 2014 AND we were nominated for 'Best Online Shop' in the Irish Times Best Shops Competition 2015.
