Lovely Lola...

One of the small joys of running your own business is supporting artists and designers that you really believe in and well... like. One such artist is Lola Hoad. Lola designs beautifully simple prints and cards, infusing inspiring quotes and stunning type to create special keepsakes to keep or giveaway to your nearest and dearest. She works from her studio in Brighton and her days consist of coffee, post office runs, ink everywhere and anywhere, and running around after Barney, her ten month old Border Terrier.

She is also, a lady and there's literally nothing I enjoy more than encouraging and promoting other women in business trying to forge their own path. In fact Lola has set up a project to do just this, its called 'One Girl Band' and it involves meet-up's where female entrepreneurs and creatives inspire and nurture one another through the trails and tribulations of self-employment and you know, drink coffee.
