One of my favourite arTISTes (spoken ala Colm Meaney in Intermission) is Scottish artist Daniel Seex and I'm lucky enough/smart enough to stock his art prints in April and the Bear. I mean of COURSE I DO.
I first stumbled across his art on THIS ISN'T HAPPINESS (which is hilarious, beautiful and poignant at the same time) and loved his wicked sense of deadpan humour, not to mention his intensely good illustrations and promptly got in contact. Nowadays Daniel is one of my best-selling artists and despite the fact that we've never physically meet, we enjoy many the email exchange and I can tell he's a stand-up chap. ANYWAY he just sent LOADS of new hilarious, great art my way and it's bananas good. Have a gander.

"I did this picture the day before David Bowie died (which was a bit weird), it's also what I sing every time Charles Dance comes on screen (and I mean every time)."

"Title should be read in the voice of David Attenborough, sparrow's voice should be posh English gentlemen."

"I've got beef with these "18 Unspoilt Places You Have To Visit" blog things. Stop it, you're spoiling them."

"The most middle class/gangster pun you will every come across today. "

" I'm really interested in the Mongols but I don't think I would have a very good one... I also like terrible puns."
