How Marble-ous

Adding texture to a space is a sure fire way to introduce personality and warmth. Simply throwing a sheepskin rug over an armchair can instantly change how a lounge area feels and its for this reason that embracing different textures is so important for a dynamic interior.
Textures don't have to be soft to be effective, raw materials like concrete, brick and wood are great materials to introduce but as of late I've only had eyes for one...marble. Yup, it's cold to the touch but oh so delicious when applied liberally to a wall or worktop. Or a cushion, or a business card for that matter.
I was on one of my nightly internet interior-shopping jaunts recently and came across Zazzle, where embracing my marble obsession was made a reality without the usual price tag. Zazzle is essentially a making platform — you can basically take any image and put that image on stuff. Stuff like cushions, cups, bathmats... you get this gist. What more could you want?! They have templates you can work from so it's very straight forward to use and the results are pretty terrific. I'm PARTICULARLY taken with my business card — which I've actually nearly run out of due to my excessive pride in it's appearance.

Here are some more I made earlier — pretty deadly right?
