We popped by Kildare-based artist Vincent Lam's studio recently and took a few snaps of the space and some of his latest works of awesome art. If you're intrigued as to what a working studio really looks like... have a peek.

Vincent works in prosthetics full time but when's he not on a job, he spends most of his time in his studio studio creating beautiful pieces of art - like the Dinosaur Head Wall Mount which we exclusively stock. These casts below are all part of the LENGTHY design process that the dinosaur goes through.

Here's a pretty terrific coloured up version of the Dino head...

And a pretty kick-ass bird wall mount — I see a new product in our midst!

April and the Bear is an award-winning DIY/ lifestyle and interiors blog. Dublin-based interior enthusiast/ blogger and entrepreneur Siobhan Lam shares her own experiences of doing up her home in Portobello ... be warned it involves head wounds, bruised shins, fire engines and never-ending mountains of dust. Don’t let this deter you though – we want to encourage and help other not-so-handy individuals to throw caution to the wind and pick up that sledge hammer, but to do so with slightly bent knees and a hard hat firmly on your head.

April and the Bear blog attracts devoted readers from across the globe, we won 'Best Business Blog' at the Image.ie Blog Awards 2014 and were nominated for the 2014 The BOPS and The Blog Awards 2014 AND we were nominated for 'Best Online Shop' in the Irish Times Best Shops Competition 2015.
