Yup, the rumours are true - we've got another Pop Up Shop up our sleeve!

Y a y.

On the Thursday the 1st of December we'll be opening our festive doors at Thirty Four in Portobello, Dublin 8. We'll be open for 10 days only and during that time will be selling most of our usual lovely interior wares in store, as well as oodles of beautiful baubles and glorious gifts.

We really wanted to create an intimate, unique and fun space for our customers this Christmas, where customers could pop by for a browse, a delish coffee and easily pick up cool gifts and gorgeous festive decor they won’t find anywhere else. The laid back, neighbourhood vibe and creative space of Thirty Four Cafe run by alternative space focused music promoter and event producer Homebeat in Portobello was the perfect space for a pop up and we are so excited to collaborate together on this!

We'd LOVE to see you there - keep your eyes on our social media for more on the pop-up and for sneak peeks of the build up!

See you there chums,

S x

April and the Bear is an award-winning DIY/ lifestyle and interiors blog. Dublin-based interior enthusiast/ blogger and entrepreneur Siobhan Lam shares her own experiences of doing up her home in Portobello ... be warned it involves head wounds, bruised shins, fire engines and never-ending mountains of dust. Don’t let this deter you though – we want to encourage and help other not-so-handy individuals to throw caution to the wind and pick up that sledge hammer, but to do so with slightly bent knees and a hard hat firmly on your head.

April and the Bear blog attracts devoted readers from across the globe, we won 'Best Business Blog' at the Image.ie Blog Awards 2014 and were nominated for the 2014 The BOPS and The Blog Awards 2014 AND we were nominated for 'Best Online Shop' in the Irish Times Best Shops Competition 2015.
